Comedy vehicle for Scottish comedian Stanley Baxter features a lot of period transport, including some gems from the preserved bus movement.
Particularly prominent in all three series is MYA590, a Harrington bodied Leyland Comet CPP1, new to Scarlett Coaches of Minehead in 1950.
We only see the distinctive Harrington dorsal fin in Season 1 Episode 1:
MYA590 appears in Episode 1 of all three seasons as a school bus:
Also briefly seen in Season 2 Episode 4 is London Transport Country Area T504 (ELP228), a 1938 AEC Regal with London Transport body:
But perhaps the most extraordinary, in the same episode, is Southern National 3650 (YD9533), a Dennis Ace new in 1934 with a Dennis body:
