Episode 1.01: The Mad Woman in the Attic
Episode 1.03: To Say I Love You part 1
A lad and his girlfriend hijack a 'Little Gem' bus run by Greater Manchester PTE from a bus station. There are actually two buses; behind is 1889 (D889MDB), while the bus hijacked is 1908 (D908NDB). Both are Dodge S56s with Northern Counties bodies:
Episode 2.01-3: To Be a Somebody part 1-3
Two scenes in part 1 involve a Greater Manchester PTE Dennis Dominator/Northern Counties and actor Robert Carlyle, with and without hair - I believe the same vehicle in each case, 2038 (H138GVM), new in 1991:
Parts 2 and 3 have a brief view of two, maybe three, housebuses parked next to a bloc of flats. The nearest appears to be a Bedford VAS/Duple Midland, the second is not clear, and I'm not at all sure if there is a third. It's also not clear what the passing Greater Manchester 'decker is:
Episode 2.04: The Big Crunch part 1
A Greater Manchester PTE MCW Metrorider features in two separate scenes. Although a fleet number is only seen in the second, since the driver is the same in each, it's reasonable to assume that it's the same vehicle, 1611 (D611MDB):
Episode 2.05: The Big Crunch part 2
Another Northern Counties bodied Dennis Dominator, this time Greater Manchester 2035 (H135GVM): Episode 3.01: Brotherly Love part 1
More housebuses, including at least one, probably two, Bedford VAS/Duple Midland:
Episode 3.02: Brotherly Love part 2
Fitz (Robbie Coltrane) becomes involved in an argument on board Manchester tram 1017:
Episode 4.01: White Ghost
Filmed in Hong Kong; glimpses of Toyota Coasters: Unsure what this coach is: ....but this appears to be a China Motor Bus MCW Metrobus:
Episode: Cracker 911
Fragments of buses seen; First Manchester 10006 (T507JNA), a Volvo B10BLA/Wright: First Manchester 12012 (YN05GYV), an articulated Scania Omnicity N94U: An anonymous Wright Streetlite:
