Following three women on their first day of release from Holloway Jail. Several London trolleybuses are seen passing the jail on Holloway Road. Another is seen in traffic:
The registration plate is not clear on this Dennis Lancet seen stopping at a pedestrian crossing, but it appears to be NBH496, the coach seen in Lost
Miss Collins's character steps off an unidentified Leyland RTL on route 24 close to Trafalgar Square.
....and another passes Leicester Square Underground station on the same route:
Colin Read notes a continuity error transforms this into SRT105 (FJJ708), a rare sighting of London Transport's SRT type. To meet the demand for bus travel after the Second World War, the SRT had an STL chassis (in this case from STL2548) and an RT-type body. The type only served 5 years in London before being scrapped; the bodies being re-used on new RTs. At the time this movie was being filmed, RTLs were replacing SRTs on route 24:
