A Speed spoof features Leslie Nielsen and Ray Charles driving former Stockton Transit 1728, a GM New Look TDH4519 supplied by Regional Transit Service.

Scott Richards, in a post on the GMFishbowl Yahoo group, noted the bus was originally repainted as a backup vehicle for Speed, and eventually blown up in another film in the livery of the fictional 'MRTT Lines'.
