InterMission (2003, Colin Farrell)
Two former London Transport T-class Leyland Titans appear in this mish-mash of stories.
One of the pair crashes on its side; the bus itself is a curiosity; it has Irish registration 97-D-05394 and has a fictitious 'DubLink' fleetname. However the livery is the Stagecoach 'stripy' livery, and the fleetnumber is 955. The destination indicator shows 'St Marychurch 12', which is a destination in Torquay, Devon!
Correspondence on the uk-bus-fleetnews discussion group identified this as former London T660 (originally NUW660Y). This bus had gone to Stagecoach London under privatisation, then to Stagecoach Devon as 955, where it was converted to single door layout. The scene with the bus overturning was filmed in Tallaght, Dublin.
Afterwards the bus was sold after filming to Fitzpatricks Coaches in Drumree, County Meath for spare parts. Can anyone identify the second bus?
