Gripping thriller with not one but two Bristol Lodekkas in the wrong place and the wrong time!
MacGregor's character (the ghost writer) snacks in a London bar, while a Go Ahead London ADL Enviro 400 passes the window:
He crosses the road to attend a meeting in the building opposite and is passed by a 'London bus' on route 9, actually a Bristol Lodekka:
After the meeting another 'decker passes outside - I'm open to offers on the id:
....and as MacGregor crosses the road we see first a modern 'decker, possibly a Scania Omnicity, then a second 'London bus' Lodekka:
I can't speak for the other vehicles, but with very little to go on Rob Sly (Bristol Commercial Vehicles Enthusiasts website) identified both Lodekkas for me.
The first is EHT110C, a 1965 Bristol Lodekka FLF with Eastern Coachworks body new as Bristol Omnibus 7110 in Cheltenham District colours (the visor over the cab windscreen is a red herring!)
Note that it's been rebuilt with no entrance on what would be the UK nearside but a door behind the staircase on the 'offside'!
The second is KAH461D, a 1966 FLF new as Eastern Counties FLF461. (note the different destination indicator)
Both buses are now owned by Royal London Bus, Leipzig, Germany.
Rob has illustrated histories for them here (EHT110C) and here (KAH461D).
The street scene was filmed not in London but in Berlin.
