Set in 1942 and based on author Brendan Behan's autobiographical book of the same name, this movie nevertheless features a London Transport AEC Routemaster in scenes set in Liverpool!

Historically closer is the prison bus - it's preserved Portmouth Corporation 170 (CTP200), a 1944 Bedford OWB new with a Duple utility body, but fitted with a replica replacment in the 1990s. It's seen here in wartime livery.
